Enalapril is used in the treatment of high blood pressure, heart failure, heart attack and diabetic kidney disease.
How it Works
Enalapril is known as an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). Enalapril prevents the body from creating a hormone known as angiotensin II. These actions help to decrease blood pressure.
